The Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine offers added convenience by eliminating the need for bottled, filtered, or pre-boiled water. Featuring a filtration membrane, the filter removes bacteria, impurities, and contaminants from water, ensuring it's clean and safe like boiled water from a kettle. Compatible with both original and Day & Night Perfect Prep machines, Tommee Tippee filters are recommended for optimal performance, as they include an antibacterial membrane crucial for removing bacteria. Each filter lasts around 3 months on average, with indicators in both machine versions signalling when replacement is needed. 

What are the black particles I can see on the packaging or on the filter? You may find that there’s a small residue of black carbon in the bag or on the surface of the cartridge. These dust particles are harmless and will be reduced during the initial set up process when submerging in clean, fresh water. The carbon used in the filter is food grade certified and therefore poses no harm to your little one. *Depending on the amount and size of bottles you use.
